Snowtubing is back!

Snow tubing is great for birthday parties & family groups looking to do something a bit different for a change. It’s fun, exciting, great exercise and leaves everyone wanting more. Snowtubing is extremely popular and it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre are offering:

  • Family Tubing Sessions
  • Junior Tubing Party Sessions
  • Individual Tubing Sessions

Sessions on offer

In advance of your session

  • If you are ill or have symptoms, please stay at home
  • Travel to ski slope with members from your household.
  • Aim to arrive at the Centre no more than 10 minutes prior to the snowtube session
  • Only bookings online will be accepted for contact tracing purposes. Under no circumstances should participants arrive at the Centre without booking in advance.
  • Snowtubing participants must bring email confirmation containing booking reference number.
  • Snowtubes will be sanitized prior to use
  • Due to covid-19 restrictions additional spectators cannot be accommodated.  

On arrival

  • On arrival, please sign in at reception
  • Please be aware of our social distancing markers and one-way system. Please make use of our hand sanitising stations before, during and after your visit.
  • We are also requesting all guests to wear a face-covering whilst in the building in line with the government’s guidance on face coverings in public spaces.
  • We will provide space near our reception for guests to wait until their activity begins.
  • Please ensure that any valuable items are left out of sight in your car or at home, as we cannot take responsibility for these. Any non-valuable items can be taken onto the slope with you if necessary.

During your session

  • After sign-in, an instructor will a take you out onto the slope for a safety brief.
  • The snowtube issued to you at the start off the session by the instructor will be the only snowtube you can use throughout the session (swapping snowtubes between participants is not permitted).
  • Socially distance queues and spacing on the slope will be in place to ensure everyone’s safety throughout your session.
  • After your tubing session, please leave all tubes in the designated area so that they can be cleaned and sanitized for the next session.

After your session

  • Please appreciate that due to Covid 19 restrictions we are under strict guidance to keep the amount of customers in and around the building to a minimum. To reduce contact between participants, and in line with the current Government guidelines, we would be grateful if you could leave the building immediately after your visit, go directly to your vehicle and leave the carpark.

FAQ's - Junior Tubing Party Sessions

What is a Junior Tubing Party

The  Junior Snowtubing Party will consist of:

  • 60 minutes tubing

Who is it for?

Kids must be 5+ years old to participate.

The minimum age is 5 years as at this age, they are usually able to drag the snow tube back up the hill on their own and hold onto their own tube.

Please note adults are unable to participate in our junior snowtubing party sessions due to health and safety reasons. Age requirement for this session is from 5-15 years old.

How much does it cost?

1 HOUR SNOWTUBING (UP TO 12) = £72.00

EXTRA PERSON = £6.20 (T&C APPLY) 

Please note if there are more than 18 participants in your group / party you will need to contact the Golf Ski Centre on 02838326606 to make your booking.

Can I order food?

Food is available to order at £3.00 per child and £6.00 per adult for a set menu.

It is essential to contact the Golf Ski Centre to check availability as the café is not open every day.

Do I have to book?

All sessions must be pre booked in advance. Places are limited, check availability on the link below. Only  bookings online will be accepted for contact tracing purposes. Under no circumstances should families arrive at the Ski Slope without booking in advance.

What is the difference between Slope 1 & Slope 2?

There is no difference this is just a divider for the booking process not a different slope.

Snowtubing takes place on the tubing slope (left side of the main ski slope). In the event of no skiing being on the main slope, 30 minutes will be given on the tubing slope and 30 minutes will be given on the main ski slope.
