Want to learn to paddle but not sure what type of paddlesport to try?
Our Discover Canoe and Kayak Weekend in February will give you a chance to undertake training in both canoe and kayak and make an informed decision on your purchase choice:
Dates: Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 February 2023
Time: 10am-4pm
After the two days training you will receive your BCU/CANI Start Award and Discover Award in Kayak and Canoe. Opportunities for further learning is available and participants can start weekly training with South Lake Paddlers.
No experience is necessary as our fully qualified BCU/CANI instructors will ensure you have fun and stay safe while learning. We will supply all equipment including wetsuit, cag, PFD and helmet. You will need a normal swim wear, tee-shirt or rash vest, toiletries and spare pair of trainers or water shoes.
Cost per Paddler is £110 and includes qualification cost.
