What date is this years race?
Sunday 13th October 2019.
What time does the run start?
Both the 10 mile and 4 mile races will start at 11.00am sharp. Competitors are asked to be at the start line by 10.45am.
Who can enter this years event?
4 mile – Anyone under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
10 mile – Anyone 16 years and older.
Is this a timed event?
The 10 mile will be chipped timed.
The 4 mile will not be chipped timed, competitors can check their time at the finishing line.
How much does it cost to enter?
- 10 Mile – £15.00 (€20.00)
- 4 Mile – £7.00 (€9.00)

When is the closing date for entries?
Monday 7th October
Registration on the day between 9.30am-10.30am.
Where and when can I pick up my race number?
In the Health & Recreation office at the Palace Stables before 3.30pm on the 7th October or on the morning of the race between 9.30am-10.30am in the Navan Centre & Fort.
All competitors MUST provide evidence of race entry, i.e. email received following online registration.
What does my entry fee include?

Where is the official start and finish?
Start – 200m from the Navan Centre towards Killylea.
The 10 mile finish – on the road at the entrance gates of the Navan Centre.
The 4 mile finish – on the path at the entrance gates of the Navan Centre.
Can I swap my race number?

Can you change routes after registration?
No, sorry this is not possible.
Must I sign-in on the day?
No, once your race number has been allocated this is all you need
Where do I park on the day?
Limited parking at the Navan Centre, additional parking on the Killylea Road sign posts will be in place
Are there changing facilities?
No changing facilities available at the Navan Centre. Facilities are available in the Orchard Leisure Centre, Folly Lane, Armagh BT60 1AT.
What First Aid facilities will be available?
Order of Malta and St Johns Ambulance will tail a route each. First Aiders will be available on site.
What do I need to bring with me?
Confirmation of online registration if collecting your race number on the day.
Runners should wear appropriate running attire, comfortable running shoes and wear race number on the front of their top.
Rules of the event
All competitors acknowledge that they will be running at entirely their own risk and that (to the extent permitted by the Unfair Contract Terms 1997) the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury whatsoever directly occasioned by or resulting from negligence, wrongful act or default of the organisers, their employers or agents from any other course including any act of God or the physical conditions of the competition.
Under UK Athletics Rule 240 S5 the wearing of headphones is not permitted in races on single carriageway road not wholly closed to traffic.
