Armagh 10 Mile Road Race and 4 Mile Fun Challenge Winners Announced

The Armagh 10 mile road race and 4 mile fun challenge now in its 18th year took place on Sunday 8th October with 696 participants between the two events.

 

The first male home in 10 mile race was Eoghan Totten from Newcastle AC in a time of 50.32, 2nd Paddy Hamilton from Slieve Gullion Runners came home in 51.35 and Declan Power finished in 55.01

 

The first three females were Laura Graham from Mourne Runners rocked home in 57.17, 2nd home was Cathy McCourt in a time of 1.03.17 and 3rd lady home was Esther Dickson from Newry AC in a time of 1.04.02

 

The 4 mile was won by Emma Mitchell from Queens in a time of 21.20 2nd was Rebecca Wallace from Fight for Annie in a time of 25.28 and 3rd lady home was Caroline O’Hare also from Fight for Annie in 25.55

 

The 1st male home in the 4 mile was Armagh AC’s Michael Kelly in 22.49, 2nd  also from Armagh AC was Joseph Hynes in 22.56 and 3rd male was Denis Cush in a time of 23.14.

 

Next year’s event will take place on Sunday 12the October 2018.  Hope to see you all out defending titles.
