Couch 2 5K September 2017
If you have always wanted to get into running but just didn’t know how, then look no further than the Couch to 5k starting in a variety of venues across the Borough! Pull on your trainers and join a group of like-minded people all aiming towards the same goal – gradually working up to running 5k or for half an hour in just nine weeks.
An experienced coach will lead each session and support you through the journey which involves a combination of walking and running. Regular running can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and having a stroke, boost your mood and keep your weight under control – so why not give it a go?
Sessions will take place as below: Solitude Park and The Mall, Armagh on 18th September at 6:30pm for 9 weeks, and People’s Park, Portadown and Silverwood Arena, Lurgan on 19th September at 6:30pm for 9 weeks.
