Participants meet at a designated community venue and take part in a free, relaxed, accessible walk led by trained walk leaders. During the route, local police officers join the group to share clear, practical personal safety guidance tailored to everyday walking situations.

Police officers provide short, friendly, and informative talks throughout the walk, covering key topics such as:
Situational awareness – how to stay alert and tune into surroundings.
Safe route planning – choosing well‑lit, populated paths and avoiding common risks.
Mobile phone and bag security – preventing theft and distraction.
Confidence-building tips – staying calm, assertive walking posture, and trusting instincts.
What to do if you feel unsafe – where to go, who to contact, and simple steps to take.
Local safety updates – sharing relevant, non‑alarmist information about the area.

Participants under 12 yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
A basic level of fitness is required as walks will take approximately 45 minutes.
