Snowtubing at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre is just brilliant! It’s pure fun! If you haven’t tried it before, you don’t know what you’re missing. Basically, it’s not complicated, you just fly down the slope on an inflatable ring…let’s face it, what’s not to like!?

A brilliant way to have fun outdoors with your mates. You’ll be active and burning calories the whole time – but you’ll be having too much fun to even think about it!

Excellent fun for everyone, snowtubing is one of our most popular activities. From 5 years and older, enjoy the exhilaration of snowtubing. Perfect for birthday parties and fun sessions, snowtubing can be enjoyed as a single activity or part of our multi activity packages.

LIFE IS GOOD ON A TUBE

Snowtube down the longest track in the Northern Ireland and enjoy yourself as you twist and turn all the way down to the bottom of the run. Fantastic fun for families.

There are various ways to enjoy snowtubing at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre, from individual and small group ‘pay and play’ sessions to larger group packages for birthday parties, school trips and youth organisations. Whilst we will always strive to accommodate larger groups at the weekend, we would prefer to discuss the numbers and timings beforehand, so please call us if your group size is 10 people or more.

Snowtubing is extremely popular and it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A SESSION?

40 MINUTES SNOWTUBING – £5.00

WHAT AGE DO CHILDREN HAVE TO BE TO SNOWTUBE?

The minimum age is 5. At this age they are usually able to drag the snow tube back up the hill on their own, hold onto their snowtube and other family members’ snowtubes.

The maximum age is 12. Please do not book online if the participant is over this age to avoid disappointment.

WHERE DOES SNOWTUBING TAKE PLACE?

Individual snowtubing takes place on the left hand side of the main slope.

Snowtubing is extremely popular and it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

How long does a session last?

An individual snowtubing sessions last for 40 minutes.

WHAT DO CHILDREN WEAR?

A pair of gloves is a MUST. Suitable footwear, such as, walking boots, snow boots, trainers with good grip or any sturdy footwear … avoid wellies and flat soled footwear. Ensure suitable clothing for the weather and arms and legs must be covered.

DO CHILDREN ARRIVE BEFORE THE SESSION?

Everyone is asked to arrive 15 minutes early to get signed in. There will be a safety briefing, outlining the rules of snowtubing. The instructors set the snow tubes off from specially designated points. Snowtubing generally only use half way up the slope.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Snow tubing still goes ahead in the rain – it’s faster!! We would only stop the snow tubing in high winds and electrical storms.

How to Book

Snow tubing at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre is great for birthday parties, doing something a bit different for a change. It’s fun, exciting, great exercise and leaves everyone wanting more. Snowtubing is extremely popular and it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

How much does a group session cost?

1 hour Snowtubing (up to 12) = £72.00

Extra person = £6.20 (T&C apply) 

Party Food = £3.00 per person

Where does the snowtubing take place?

Snowtubing takes place on the left side of the main slope. In the event of no skiing being on the main slope, 30 minutes will be given on each side of the slope.

How long does snow tubing last?

The actual snow tubing lasts one hour. The party can be extended with another land activity or incorporating the food and drink party option.
