Located within the stretch of the Upper River Bann that runs through Stramore Park in Gilford and immediately adjacent to the Gilford Community Centre, our new 115m beginners Canoe Slalom course runs from the canoe steps at the Centre down to a new set of canoe steps at Bridge Street.

The footbridge links the two sites and provides an excellent vantage point to watch the paddlers close to the excellent facilities at the centre. We have ample car parking beside the Linen House Restaurant and Tea Rooms.

Normally you do not, however certain groups do, (for example those with certain medical conditions and all our teen gym users.) Our medical questionnaire contains sections asking if you would like one or not. Please speak to a member of fitness staff for more information.
