There will be 4 age waves. The 1st wave starts at 10am. Individual wave times will be sent in advance in the race briefing.
Anyone age 8-17 years old can take part.
Yes the event will be chip timed
Entry fee is 22 Euro for those that hold a junior Triathlon Ireland License.
For those that don’t and additional ODL (One Day License Fee) will apply.
The start and finish line will be outside South Lakes Leisure Centre, lakeside entrance.

Yes you must register on the day and show your Triathlon Ireland License.
No, there will be no registration on the day.
Numbers are capped so early registration is advised.
There is ample car parking at South Lakes Leisure Centre and an overflow car park at Craigavon Civic Centre.
There will be spot prizes.
Swim:
A Triathlon always starts with a swim. The swim can be any stroke apart from backstroke, you will need a brightly coloured swim hat, goggles, wetsuit, swimwear or tri suit
Bike:
The next step is to get on your bike. Any type of bike will do – just check it is roadworthy and you’ll need a helmet too. Bike Shoes are optional, trainers are fine, if not wearing a tri suit you will need a tshirt to put on over your swimming costume
Run:
Finally, it’s time for a bit of running, so pack your trainers!
There will be strategically positioned lifeguards / marshals around the swim course.
The transition area is located in front of South Lakes Leisure Centre.
There will be changing facilities available in South Lake Leisure Centre.
There will be water at the finish line, competitors are advised to have a water bottle on their bike.
