We’re all smiles about the two bank holiday weekends in May, which means double the getactiveabc activity specials! Here are our top picks for the upcoming long weekends:

Watersports multi-activity days

May means…South Lake Watersports activity days are back! Our multi-activity days (Monday 6 and 27 May) include a variety of on the water and off the water fun and games, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, archery, climbing and cycling. Kids are sure to work up an appetite and a lunch is provided with this package. Click here to find out more.

May watersports hire

Get on your bike or take to the water with our May watersports hire and explore the natural beauty, blooms and wildlife around Craigavon Lakes! From Sunday 5 May, South Lake Watersports is offering kayak, canoe, paddleboard and cycle hire every Saturday and Sunday (and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings) throughout May (currently free to getactiveabc single, family and corporate members). Get qualified on the water!

Staying on the water, we also have junior ‘learn to paddle’ (Sunday 5 and 18 May) which is a fantastic course for young hands and feet to get a feel for canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding! To top off all the action, participants will earn a prestigious BCU/CANI recognised qualification! Click here to find out more.

For those with a little more experience, we have the two-day RYA Level 2 Basic Skills Course (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May). This course aims to increase your sailing knowledge and technique whilst improving your practical skills on the water. Click here to find out more.

Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre

Our May bank holiday activities at Craigavon Golf and Ski Centre (Monday 6 and 27 May) include family and individual tubing and our special kids package of footgolf and tubing guarantees fun and exercise on the green and on the slope! Click here to find out more.
