Feeling Green

ABC Parks

From shaking your shamrocks at Mohan’s Funfair in Solitude Park, Banbridge to visiting the new arrivals at Tannaghmore Gardens in Craigavon City Park or planning a camping trip to Gosford Forest Park, the grass is always greener in our ABC parks and open spaces on St Patrick’s weekend. Get feeling green with milder weather, extended park opening hours and the first signs of spring awakening in nature.

Follow in Patrick's Footsteps

Coney Island

What better way to prep for St Patrick’s Day than by planning a boat trip from Kinnego Marina to the magical Coney Island and following in Patrick’s footsteps! Legend has it that St. Patrick visited Coney Island via a causeway which extended from the mainland out to the island. Saint Patrick’s Stone is just one of the many interesting natural and historic things to see and experience on the island.

Combine your boat trip with a bit of fishing and ‘lunch with a view’ at The Galley Cafe. Kinnego Marina offers annual, monthly, weekly and daily berthing rates and there’s also the option of camping, caravanning or glamping at this beautiful spot.
