Trail Orienteering [‘TrailO’], is a form of inclusive orienteering that has been developed to offer disabled people or those with reduced mobility, a chance to participate equally with others.
TrailO involves navigation skills and correctly identifying marked points on a special orienteering map. The event is not timed and you will stay on predetermined accessible paths or trails throughout, which makes it ideal for wheelchairs users and those using walking aids. You may even visit parts of the Forest you have never visited before!!
TrailO event is designed to Get Places Moving, by creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment where people can Get Moving and Stay Moving.
