Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Health and Recreation Department
This project will use sport as a tool to develop communities by providing opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity, gain qualifications, build relationships with people from various backgrounds and take part in positive activities.
The programme has targeted and will continue to target specifically those in the community who are least active namely
- People in socio-economically deprived areas
- Youth at risk of anti-social behaviour
- People with a disability
- Women and girls
This project consists of a number of different programmes funded by Department for Communities, Peace IV, PCSP, OFMDFM and Armagh City, Banbridge, Craigavon Borough Council and is fully organised and delivered by the Sports Development Team.
