Walking with Poles

Walking with poles is an excellent form of exercise said to work 90% of the muscles in the body. During these sessions you will learn the proper walking technique that will help you improve your cardio, develop strength, improve your posture and reduce the impact on your joints.

Date: Monday 3 June | 10 June | 17 June | 24 June

Location: River Bann Walk & Havelock (starting from Banbridge Leisure Centre)

Time: 2.00pm – 3.00pm

Cost: £8 (for 4 week block)

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear.

What should I bring?

Please pack a bottle of water, raincoat and suncream. These will be easiest carried in a small rucksack or crossbody bag.

Poles will be provided.

How long is the walk?

The walk will take approximately 1 hour and will start and finish at Banbridge Leisure Centre.
