Get your people fit for business!

April 12, 2024

Encouraging your most precious assets, your people, to embrace fitness as a lifestyle choice pays off in numerous ways and the Get Moving ABC programme is here to help, for free!

A physically active workforce can provide lots of business-related benefits, such as increased productivity and increased job satisfaction, resulting in lower absenteeism and reduced costs to businesses.

Current Get Moving partners include local businesses Ripple Creative, AG Wilson, Turkington Holdings Ltd, Tarasis Enterprises, Autobits Motor Store, Irwin’s Bakery and Manfreight.

A representative from Ripple Creative said: “Improving mental health among our team is at the forefront of our wellbeing agenda. The Get Moving ABC Workplace Scheme is a fantastic programme that is both educational and fun to participate in. Initial team feedback has been positive and we look forward to further information and events to help motivate and support our team to lead an active and fulfilling life, inside and outside of work.”

By signing up to the programme our get moving experts will help you identify the needs of your workforce before developing a bespoke physical activity package that works best. That’s not all! As a Get Moving Business, you will also reap the benefits of joining a Corporate Indoor Leisure Membership Scheme; receive support and guidance on the Couch to 5K/10K programmes; participate in a teambuilding games day; be guided on signing your workplace up to an active travel scheme; collaborate with the NI Chest, Heart and Stroke ‘Live Well Work Well’ programme, plus lots more!
