See Sports Challenge is an exciting initiative designed to bring blind and partially sighted people from across Northern Ireland together to take part in a unique outdoor sports challenge. As the Council’s twist on the See Sports Differently initiative, this two-year programme encourages individuals, families and groups to get active, push their limits and experience the benefits of inclusive sports.
The programme is funded by The Primary Club – The James Fund and supported by RNIB Northern Ireland. Participants can register for one of three challenges. Each challenge will require participation in a number of different sporting sessions, increasing in numbers as the challenge gets harder. Whether taking part individually or as part of a team, participants will have the opportunity to develop new skills and build confidence.
The outdoor sporting sessions include; canoeing, kayaking, stand-up-paddleboarding, power boating, angling, climbing, archery, walking, cycling, snow skiing and snow tubing.
Join us and take on the See Sports Challenge, because sport should be for everyone!
