Swim Test
Location : South Lake Leisure Centre
Availability : Monday 2nd | Tuesday 3rd | Saturday 7th February (various time slots throughout the day)
Participants will be tested on the following:
- Jump and dive into deep water
- Swim 50 meters under 1 minute ( 2 lengths)
- Swim 100 meters on front and 100 meters on back without stopping.
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive and recover a submersible adult manikin from the deepest part of the pool ( has to be done on first attempt)
- Climb out of the pool unaided without using steps or ladders
Please note this is only suitable for individuals who have submitted a lifeguard recruitment application.
