We’ve got a fangtastic Halloween up our sleeve!
BOO!! The most frightful time of the year is creeping up fast…and we love it so much, it’s scary! We’ve got wicked multi-skills camps, spooky £1 swims, flashing fireworks and hair-raising activity specials and lots more up our sleeve, so be sure to carve out some time to join us from Sat 26 Oct – Fri 1 Nov!
As night falls, join us for the ‘Fireworks at the Lakes’ (Thurs 31 Oct). The creepy grounds of South Lake Leisure Centre will be filled to the brim with ghosts, goblins and monsters, all vying for a spot to watch in awe as the night sky illuminates with a thrilling display of fireworks – sure to leave you spellbound. Beware, this year’s fireworks kick off at 7:30pm!!
Don’t let your little vampires drive you batty over the break! ‘Wicked multi-skills camps’, delivered by more friendly and less scary fitness instructors, promise tricks, treats, frights and delights across our centres in Armagh, Banbridge, Dromore, South Lake and Tandragee. Don’t fret, the instructors don’t bite (much)!!
‘Fearsome football camps’ at Gilford Community Centre will stop your little terrors from being bone idle (Thurs 31 Oct and Fri 1 Nov) and ‘Spooky £1 swims’ mean devilish fun in the pools at Armagh, Banbridge and South Lake Leisure Centres (Thurs 31 Oct)!
Hauntingly good fun awaits at ‘Dromore’s devilish inflatables and ghoulish games room’ (Thurs 31 Oct). Step inside, if you dare, and bounce around with other ghosts and ghouls or get competitive in the games room!
‘Hair-raising specials’ at South Lake Watersports are made for the adventurous spooks out there! Get your fangs into archery, battle bows and team games (Sat 26 and Sun 27 Oct).
Witches and vampires – leave your brooms and bats at the door for ‘Spooky spin’ at Banbridge Leisure Centre (Wed 30 Oct). Get your spook on and blood flowing with deadly tunes (Halloween costumes are optional)!
Blow the cobwebs off with ‘howling fun at Craigavon Golf and Ski Centre’! Whizz down the ski slopes like a witch on a broomstick with snowtubing or monster mash your way around the footgolf course!
Kids can’t have all the fun this Halloween! The over 50’s club at South Lake Leisure Centre invites you to a ‘Bewitching Halloween Special’ of pumpkin carving and autumnal flower arranging (Wed 30 Oct).
We also have something wicked (but nice!) for the mummies and devilish dads too! Enter our ‘‘VIP competition’ (opens 21 Oct) for a frighteningly fabulous pamper session, while watching the night sky come alive with a riot of colours fireworks display, at South Lake Health & Wellbeing Suite.
Nothing looks more more BOO-iful this time of year that our parks and open spaces! Wrap up and get out and about and while you’re at it, sit for a spell and enjoy a brew in one of the wide range of cafes and outdoor catering vans!
