A gem situated in the heart of a residential setting, is how Lord Lurgan Memorial Park has been described.
The land was originally owned by the Brownlow family but was given over to the town folk of Lurgan in 1908.
The Park still retains its picturesque beech lined avenue and is a hive of sporting activity all year round.
A newly installed modern art work – in the form of a Park bench allows visitors fantastic views of the whole town.
You can see all the main landmarks of Lurgan from the elevated vantage point – the two main churches, the Model School, the railway, Brownlow House and Johnston’s linen factory.
