Portadown Peoples Park

Having recently undergone significant refurbishment, Portadown Peoples Park has become a popular visitor attraction for visitors from across the Province. Nearly 5.5 million was secured through Peace III funding which has regenerated the green space into a busy park with something for everyone to enjoy.

The state of the art play park features equipment suitable from toddlers to teens. Climb aboard the pirate ship, whizz down the zip line, dig in the sand pit or race down the slides. There are also plenty of picnic tables with barbeque facilities.

The new pond area, which was once a historic feature of the Park, has been reintroduced to stimulate the Parks biodiversity, whilst creating a setting for educational groups to use, learn from and enjoy.
