Get Inspired With A Visit To Our Parks

Enjoy winter wanders around your local parks, woodlands and towpaths, discovering new treks and trails in 2025. Get active with our 8-week Couch to 5k programme [starting Mon 13 January] or by joining the free Craigavon Black Paths Winter Cycles with partner Cycul. Walking, jogging, running and cycling trigger the release of endorphins (AKA the ‘happy hormones’) and help combat the winter blues!

Our outdoor leisure team strive to champion our parks and open spaces as positive places to get active in and to stay and play with family and friends. We want to increase awareness about the physical and mental health benefits of braving the elements and participating in outdoor activities so read on and decide which park you will choose for your next visit.
