The Mall

The Mall is one of the best-known and historic areas of the city of Armagh, It is a 3.9 mile (9,000-step) route located near Armagh.

This long grassy expanse east of Armagh’s centre was a horseracing, cock-fighting and bull-baiting venue until the 18th century, when Archbishop and transformed it into an elegant Georgian park.

It is flanked by notable buildings, including the Armagh Courthouse, Armagh Gaol, Georgian terraces including Charlemont Place, Armagh County Museum and the Royal Irish Fusiliers Museum.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Free on-street parking is available around the Mall, although the area can become very busy at times.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST TOILET?

Toilets can be found in McCrums Court at the top of the Mall shopping centre.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST CAFÉ?

Armagh Town Centre hosts an abundance of Cafés and eateries within five minutes walking distance from the Park.

Dogs should be under close control at all times. Please clean up after your dog.
